Sticking with Wednesdays for board games from here on out this fall - just come by the tables upstairs in the Student Union at 5:30pm or so.
Just in case anyone’s reading this, we’re still doing regular weekly board games on Wednesday’s at 6:00pm upstairs in the Student Union.
I’ll update again if anything happens or the time changes.
Same time, same place:
Upstairs in the Student Union building, 6 PM this Wednesday. It’s possible we might move downstairs if tables are full, like last week, so check there if you don’t see anyone upstairs playing games.
We’re meeting in the Lyla Richards Room in the Student Union (SU 103*) on Friday 22nd, Oct. from 5:30-10pm** for board/card games, pizza, and organizing future Games Society stuff.

Board and card game night is Thursday this week (Thursday the 7th), and will mark the return of free pizza — 5:30 to 10pm in the usual place on the second floor of the Student Union. Hopefully this will work out better for more people.
And of course, as before, if you have any particular games you’d like to play, bring them. It’s very likely you’ll find at least a few players.
Board and card game night
Tuesday the 21st (and depending on success, future Tuesdays) will be board and card game night 5:30-10:00pm, in the same place on the second floor of the student union. If anyone has games, please bring them. Games that will be available for certain:

- Battlestar Galactica
- Fury of Dracula
- Conquest of the Empire
- Knightmare Chess
- A Game of Thrones
Pen and paper RPGs

Anyone wanting to run a game, or play one with a specific system, please feel free to send a message to the group.
PC and Console games
No date set, but tentatively some sort of LAN party event next month, contingent on interest.
Boring stuff
To become an official club, the game society needs volunteers of officers to fill a number of spots. The positions are:
- President
- Treasurer
- Club Council Delegate
- Vice President
- Secretary
Of these, it is mostly just the first three that have actual student union mandated duties (attending meetings, submitting some paperwork). If anyone is willing to volunteer for any of the positions, please respond back to uaagamessoc@gmail.com.
